  5. This release fixes many errors reported in earlier versions.  Spoint has
  6. now gone through enough rigorous testing that it should run without any
  7. problems whatsoever.  I'm sure there are still bugs in there somewhere,
  8. so don't say I lied if you happen to find one.  Report it.  We'll fix it
  9. ASAP.

  20. What's New in Spoint 1.20 --

  22.    *  POLL command.  A staple in all robot programs.  Very useful for
  23.       points.
  24.  
  25.    *  PACKET keyword in the control file.  Allows you to specify what
  26.       kind of packets, either "Stoneage" or "Type-2+," you want Spoint
  27.       to create by default.

  29.    *  QUIETARC keyword in control file.  Suppresses your archiver's
  30.       screen output.  A merely cosmetic enhancement, but a user requested
  31.       it.  That shows you how responsive we are.

  33.    *  Faster netmail folder access.

  35.    *  Now accepts pathspecs with trailing backslashes or without.

  37.    *  Improved error-checking.

  39.    *  SPHIST.EXE replaced with sexier SPSTAT.EXE.  Provides a more
